This page explains the cookies and similar tracking tools we use on ledgergurus.com, what each one does, and how long it stays on your device. For more on how we handle your personal information, see our Privacy Policy.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files a website saves on your device. Some keep the site working. Others help us see how people use the site or measure how our marketing performs.
Essential cookies
Essential cookies enable basic functions and are necessary for the proper function of the website.
| Name | Description | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| lg_cookie_notice | Remembers that you’ve seen our cookie notice so it doesn’t show again | 1 year |
Analytics cookies
These help us understand how visitors use our site so we can improve it.
| Name | Provider | Description | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics | Tells visitors apart so we can count visits | 2 years |
| _ga_[ID] | Google Analytics | Keeps track of your current visit | 2 years |
| _clck | Microsoft Clarity | Recognizes returning visitors | 1 year |
| _clsk | Microsoft Clarity | Connects page views from the same visit | 1 day |
| CLID | Microsoft Clarity | Recognizes a visitor across sites that use Clarity | 1 year |
Microsoft Clarity records how visitors move through our pages, like clicks and scrolling, so we can see where the site is confusing. It doesn’t record what you type into forms.
Marketing cookies
These help us measure how our Google ads perform, and connect your visits to our site with the information you share when you fill out one of our forms, so we can follow up with content that’s relevant to you.
| Name | Provider | Description | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| _gcl_au | Google Ads | Links ad clicks to visits and enquiries on our site | 90 days |
| _gcl_aw | Google Ads | Remembers the ad click that brought you to our site | 90 days |
| prism_[account ID] | ActiveCampaign | Tracks page visits for contacts who’ve filled out one of our forms | Up to 1 year |
| ac_enable_tracking | ActiveCampaign | Remembers whether site tracking is turned on for you | 1 year |
If you arrive from one of our Google ads, the phone number on our site may be replaced with a Google forwarding number so we can tell which ads lead to calls. Calls still reach our team.
Booking tools
When you use a scheduling calendar on our site, Calendly or SavvyCal may set their own cookies to make booking work. Those cookies are covered by Calendly’s privacy policy and SavvyCal’s privacy policy.
Embedded videos
Our videos play from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode, so YouTube doesn’t set cookies until you press play. Once you do, YouTube (Google) may set its own cookies, which are covered by Google’s privacy policy.
Managing your cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Some parts of the site may not work without essential cookies. You can also opt out of specific tools:
- Google Analytics: install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- Google ads: change your ad personalization in My Ad Center.
- Microsoft Clarity: see the Microsoft privacy statement for your choices.
